Rachel Zilinskas - Coconut macaroons and Ironman Texas and

Ambitions and goals for this year

"Despite spending most of last year injured, I had a few great results including my first ever Ironman victory and my first start at IMWC in Kona. I am hoping to build off of these results and be competitive at IMWC in Nice. Last year I feel like I was just getting used to competing again with a few big changes that I made, including my nutrition. I think having that sorted will allow me to focus on executing my races and competing to the best of my ability."

Race schedule

"I will start with Ironman Texas in April and likely follow with Mont Tremblant 70.3 and Ironman Lake Placid later in the summer. I will likely try to get in a few more races as the year goes on to hopefully improve my Ironman Pro Series ranking."
